How I think about the work
I like picking the right SLIs, setting an SLO that means something, and spending the error budget deliberately rather than by accident.
How I work
A small number of clients at a time. Capacity is committed in writing: if an engagement is two days a week, that is what it gets, scheduled in whole day blocks.
Also building
Alongside client work I build consumer software of my own, running on infrastructure I operate myself. None of it is public yet, though I am glad to show it privately to anyone curious.
